Finally! I can announce a big project that I’ve been working on, other than my new business Sleeping With the Chef… which a collaboration between my husband and chef extraordinaire Bryan Caswell and myself. More about that later! Today, I am announcing my first run of a new online photography workshop. I’ve been planning and working incredibly hard on this one and cannot wait to start the course. Read on for more details.
Who: This course is for anyone who is wants to further develop their vision via their photography. The photographer that will benefit the most from this course is someone who is already shooting in manual successfully as we will not be covering the basics. What: This is a four week course and the registration fee is $300. Each week you will have lessons in a PDF format, as well as via video. We will even have group video chats once a week for an hour to discuss the techniques “in person”. I will take you behind the scenes on several different shoots from conceptualizing to the final product. We will cover everything from planning out your vision for the shoot, shooting your vision and editing the images to further fulfill your vision. We will be discussing what it means to shoot with intent in order to take your images to the next level. To help you better tell the story at hand. Whether you shoot lifestyle or stylized session, we will explore all the bases each genre and how each step will affect your final images.
When: Starts on May 9 and ends on June 6th. After the course is over, we will migrate to my facebook group set up so that you can continue to explore your techniques and receive feedback from myself and your peers.
Where: Classes will take place in an online forum.
Why: Because I love teaching what I know, I’m an open book and enjoy sharing the tricks and techniques that I have learned along the way.
